Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Spotted Holding Hands on Romantic NYC Date Night
New York got a double dose of star power on Friday night as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted enjoying a romantic date night in Manhattan. The couple was photographed holding hands as they left dinner at the Jane Hotel on October 9 — and fans can't get enough.
A Cozy Night Out in the City
Photographers captured the pair leaving The Old Rose restaurant inside the historic Jane Hotel after an intimate dinner. Swift, 36, kept things casual in a green ribbed top and flats — a rare footwear sighting that immediately set fan accounts buzzing, since the singer is usually spotted in heels. Kelce, 37, complemented her relaxed look in a cream polo shirt.
After dinner, the couple took a slow, affectionate walk together, holding hands as they made their way to a waiting vehicle. Videos shared online showed them looking completely at ease — a far cry from the stadium suites and red carpets where they're usually photographed.
Making the Most of Bye Week
The timing is perfect: the Kansas City Chiefs are on their bye week, giving Kelce rare time off in the middle of the NFL season. The tight end has been making the most of it, spending quality time with Swift in New York City. The Chiefs return to action on October 18.
A Birthday Week to Remember
Friday's date night capped off a celebratory week for the couple. Just days earlier, they celebrated Kelce's 37th birthday with a dinner at Torrisi, the upscale SoHo Italian hotspot. On his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce, Travis gushed about the evening — calling Torrisi "one of my favorite spots," raving about the desserts ("the entire arsenal," in his words), and describing the night simply as "a good day, a fun day... got to hang with Tay."
Swift also popped up in New York over the weekend to support her friend Dakota Johnson's Saturday Night Live hosting gig, even crashing the monologue with a joke and presenting the actress with a birthday cake.
What's Next for the Power Couple
The sightings won't stop here. Swift is set to fly to Los Angeles next week after being announced as the performer for the Academy Museum Gala on October 17 — one of awards season's key kickoff events, where she's expected to perform her Oscar-eligible song "I Knew It, I Knew You."
Engaged since August 2025, the couple continues to be one of the most-watched pairs in the world. And judging by Friday night's loved-up stroll through Manhattan, the honeymoon era is showing no signs of slowing down.
